A good discussion on a very good game. Ocean certainly knew how to make good tie-ins! 🙂

  2. AspergerGamer64 says:

    i really enjoy it guys

  3. The only Batman rom I had handy after listening today was Batman Forever on the Megadrive. I wouldn’t wish that game on my worst enemy. But I’m looking forward to trying this out when I get a chance. Keep up the good work guys I think the episode-and-a-half format is working well.

Wow the curse of batman forever!
The couldn’t even make a decent game out of the crappy movie:(

But yeah check out batmsn the movie on the 8bit home computers and also check out the Amiga version

Great show guys 🙂 Ocean were a great company and did some really great games i dont know why people on youtube slate theam.
I think its because of there console games they did do some poor games on the NES and Super NES.
Batman was a great game with the bat hook type thing hes got it sort of remided me of Bionic Commando.

  5. Andy says:

agreed a lot of ocean titles on the consoles werent the greatest.

but yeah i loved ocean..great label

  6. Glenn says:

Ah Batman, had this on C64 & Amiga, loved the car section on Amiga one of the smoothest fastest racing on Amiga when it first came out. Looking at C-64 I would pic batman over robocop any day because it plays better but I also was able to complete Batman while Robocop had a bug where the background graphics would corrupt and you couldn’t get past it.
Andy, there was a another Batman game from Ocean called Batman- Caped Crusader which I enjoyed the most out of the 3. Fantastic graphics and music, I would say try it out on C-64 it’s the best out of the lot even the 16-bits.

I forgot to mention that at the start of the game Batman even slides down the bat pole Adam West style! Nuff said – Instant win.
