I thought a picture says as much as a thousand words as they say, so the above video will show everything you need to see, but what can I say? Bloody brilliant!
Aqua Kitty has been reviewed on here before in an excellent review by PressPlayOnTape, along with an interview with the developer. However, recently Andy asked me to take a look at the new Steam release, and I’m very glad I did.
The aim of the game is to protect the “Kittys” who are mining milk under the sea due to a world wide shortage of milk, all very normal then. Ok, not that normal, but it makes for a great game
The game plays like Defender and features wonderful retro “chip-style” music and 16-bit style graphics – and it has one thing many modern games are missing …. good old fashion “retro play”, with a massively addictive edge to it.
I’ll let the video do the talking, but £4.49 is a brilliant price for such an addictive game and the Steam edition brings with it online score boards, so you just have to try again and again to get further up the rankings.
*MEOW* ….. oh …. aye up… think I need to get defending. See you later!!
