Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD on its way to the PS3 + 360

Tony Hawk is going back to his roots, back where it all started in Pro Skater, but this time its on the PS3 and in glorious HD!

Tony Hawks 1st outing was on the PS1 in 1999 and what a game it was, for the first time not only could you control the man himself but you could also skate like him with just a taps on the d-pad and a few press of the buttons.

The game itself was a fantastic game that featured some amazing tricks and skate parks and also had one heck of a sound track(Probably one of my faves ever!)

So it’s great news that Tony has come full circle and is back at Pro Skater, because the later games just lost that magic and charm of the original.

This new version not only comes in HD but also features
levels collected from the first two installments remade with a whole new engine for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
And music from the 1st 2 games plus some new music.

The game itself is looking superb, check out the video

One of the first psx games if i remember and choosing to do it this way to me is great as it has the best of the series before they flushed it down the toilet and turned it into nothing more than a cash cow.
