Good mini podcast on an excellent game. I remember playing the demo on the official Playstation magazine’s demo disc and thought it was really cool! The bit where the shopkeeper gets attacked by Zombies was scary! Really proves that in this game, there is nowhere safe to hide!

Spot on about the tank like controls Andy, I couldn’t get on with them too well either but it’s still a classic game.

I still think the 2nd game is the best in the series *doges rotten tomatoes and cabbages being thrown) but i will never take away what the 4th one achieved, I think its case I just love my zombies and if anything I just want to stomp on that little twonk Salazars head, wont have to lift my leg too high will I

Chaps, quick note to say well done and thanks for making a fab episode of Retro Asylum. Res 2 is a fantastic game. I have many fond memory’s of it (played it in my first year of uni) especially when you first see that creature scuttle past the outside window of the police station ! I think the most enjoyable part was finding the extra parts for the shotgun and hand gun so you could power them up.
Well done, looking forward to your Res 4 podcast in 10 years time!!

Great mini show Resident evil 2 improved on alot of things compaired to the first game.
However i really like the b movie crapnes of Resident evil more than RE2 myself with real actors not to mention like real horror movies it was censored it alot in the UK and US and i found it more of a challenge RE2 was a litte to easy.
