Orchestrated Banjo-Kazooie’s soundtrack

‘Banjo-Kazooie Symphony’ is the latest project announced by the highly regarded Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra. The full length symphonic album is set to include orchestral interpretations of the iconic music featured in each area of the game as well as a selection of extra motifs, melodies and music heard throughout the original title.

‘Banjo-Kazooie Symphony’ comes hot on the heels of the Synthetic Orchestra’s well-received ‘Super Metroid Symphony’ album released in March. It is set to offer 30 tracks totalling over an hour of orchestral music.

Original composer, Grant Kirkhope said: “It never ceases to amaze me how many people still listen to the music from the Banjo games after all these years, it really is very humbling. I have to say that I’m really honoured that Blake has taken the time and effort to take those old rough sounding tunes and turn them into something that I think is fantastic… I hope you’ll all agree”.

More information can be found on the album’s website

The album will be available for purchase Friday 31st of May, 2013 from Loudr and iTunes.
