Welcome to episode 86 of the UK’s No.1 Retro Gaming Podcast!

This week we have a music special for you all about the Super Nintendo! MrSid picks his favourite 5 SNES games and plays some tunes from each one and then we play some choices from our amazing community of retromaniacs.

Thanks to Phil (@last1up) for ANOTHER awesome cover art.

Apologies for not been able to play ALL the community choices!

We hope you enjoy the show. Please leave us an iTunes review and as always your feedback is very appreciated

    Lovely cover art.

There was a lot of great music on the SNES but there was also a lot of rubbish that sounded a lot better on the AMIGA and SEGA versions because it’s too horn sounding on the SNES version.

  3. TEOL says:

I think you choose some of the very best tracks that use the sound of the SNES sound hardware properly rather than the tunes that overdo the horn and proved how when programmed well the SPC is the very best 16-Bit console chip the only other thing that matches it when a tracks done right is the AMIGA as it’s the same sort of hardware as that also uses multi channel PCMs when done in a good tracker.
